INITIAL VISIT

On the first visit to La Grange Institute of Health,
the doctor will spend approximately 1.5 hours with the patient. A detailed history will be taken followed by a physical exam consisting of neurological and orthopedic procedures. The exam will be focused yet thorough to best determine the cause of the problem and the pain origin. Specific functional assessments may be integrated, including, but not limited to; posture analysis, gait analysis, muscle testing, proprioceptive testing and functional biomechanics.

The patient will receive a detailed report of findings, explaining in clear terms what the doctor has determined and what treatment is necessary. Appropriate treatment will begin on the first visit and may include spinal manipulation, myofascial release therapy, therapeutic modalities, home rehabilitation protocols, nutritional advice or acupuncture.

Treatment plans are highly specific to each patient and are developed based on each patient's condition, lifestyle and personal goals. La Grange Institute of Health is highly respectful of each patient's privacy and individual concerns. Questions regarding a condition, treatment or exercise are encouraged at any time.
